Howard Urban Education Initiatives
(HUE Initiatives) is a non-profit organization that offers quality educational and cultural programs and resources in underserved communities. The focus of our work is to provide participants with a greater knowledge of self, cultural awareness, and opportunities for educational and career exploration.
Although urban teen males are the target audience, our programming reaches high school students and young adults of all ethnicities and gender. From summer enrichment activities to seminars and workshops, HUE Initiatives takes students to a place of greater personal awareness ascending to greater social responsibility.

The Young Man Camp is a summer enrichment program for teenage males matriculating to high school. The primary goal of this program is to help students to better understand themselves thereby becoming aware, responsible, and productive citizens. The Young Man Camp places a high premium on the notion that awareness begins with “knowledge of self”.
